IMPACT OF DIGITAL PEDAGOGY ON THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING OF STUDENTS DURING GLOBAL PANDEMICS: A NARRATIVE REVIEW

Abstract :
The migration of the teaching learning process to online mode during the pandemic has posed a plethora of difficulties and challenges for the young students across the world. It highlights the difficulties faced by students and the stress on the education system during times of medical health emergencies and lockdown situations in the past. Objective: To undertake a narrative review of studies assessing the impact of the lockdown crisis on the student wellbeing and education. Methods: Keyword searches of PubMed and Google Scholar databases led to the identification of 25 studies for the present review. Results: Studies (n = 25) exploring the students’ experience of lockdown and the impact of pandemic situations on their education were identified. Analysis of the results of these studies revealed the following main themes: Impact on students’ mental health, causes of deteriorated mental health of students: multiple heterogeneous stressors, socio-economic divide in education, gendered impact of epidemics and impact on the educational system: challenges of e- learning. Conclusion: Lockdown situations not only disrupt the normal study routine of students and causes a slowdown in their learning curve; it also creates a significant mental burden causing adverse impacts on their mental health. The lack of appropriate technological devices and the lack of sufficient internet bandwidth has deepened the educational divide. Remote education systems have proven inadequate in replicating the chalk and talk methodologies of teachers. Future directions are discussed.

Abstract :
A single father whose dealing with work and taking care of a child with a disability is indeed challenging, however, fathers' perspectives on this matter are not given first preference in research. Hence, this descriptive phenomenological study aimed to describe the lived experience of three single fathers of children with special needs. The participants voluntarily responded to open-ended questions in a semi-structured interview and thematic analyses were done to extract meanings and concepts. Based on these data, three major themes emerged from describing the participants’ lived experiences. Out of 14 subordinate themes, 3 main themes of emotional pain, financial stress, and adaptive coping emerged. These men experienced financial hardship, isolation, anxiety, shame, worry, and fatigue; nevertheless persisted, adapted, and accepted life as a parent with friends and family's support.

Abstract :
The Problematic Internet Use Questionnaire (PIUQ) consists of three dimensions (Demotrovics, 2016): Obsession (i.e., obsessive thoughts about the internet, and mental withdrawal symptoms when there is a lack of internet use), neglect (i.e., ignoring basic needs and daily activities), and impaired self-control (i.e., difficulty in controlling the internet). This study aims to analyse the PIUQ measuring instrument further using the Rating Scale analysis technique. The number of respondents in this study was 550, who was chosen voluntarily by spreading it on social media. The findings show that this unidimensional PIUQ has excellent validity quality and good item reliability and can be profitable if used on a large scale because of the small number of items. The MIMIC model is ideal; the absence of susceptibility to differences in characteristics indicates that the scale used in the measurement remains consistent in a heterogeneous population.

Abstract :
Academic procrastination is a severe problem students faced during online learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the predictors that can reduce academic procrastination is increasing academic motivation. This research aimed to determine how academic motivation could affect students' academic procrastination during online learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 619 students participated in this research. The Yockey Academic Procrastination Short Scale (APS-S) and Vallerand's Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) were used to measure procrastination and motivation, respectively. Academic motivation and academic procrastination were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that academic motivation consisting of intrinsic, extrinsic, and amotivation influenced 15.6% of academic procrastination behavior. Intrinsic motivation and amotivation had a significant effect on academic procrastination. Procrastination tended to be done by men. Meanwhile, women's intrinsic motivation tended to be higher than men's, with higher extrinsic motivation in academics.

Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between body satisfaction and youth life satisfaction. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique in Jabodetabek on 266 adolescents, with an age range of 13-21 years. The measuring instruments in this study are the Adolescent Body Image Satisfaction Scale (ABISS) by Leone, Mullin, Maurer-Starks, & Rovito (2014) to measure the level of body satisfaction and The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) scale compiled by Diener, Emmons , Larsen, and Griffin to measure the level of life satisfaction. Analysis of Pearson Correlation showed that there is a significant negative relationship between body satisfaction and life satisfaction in adolescents, both in the dimensions of body competence (r=-0.420), body innadequate (-0.319) and (-0.169), which means the more individuals are dissatisfied with the body, the more dissatisfied he is with his life. The results of this study are expected to be one of the considerations for educational institutions or the community, especially adolescents so that they can receive, maintain and feel satisfied with their bodies so that they can increase satisfaction with their lives, where life satisfaction is very important in the process of optimizing adolescent development.

Abstract :
This research aimed to determine the relationship between employees' emotional intelligence and occupational stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emotional intelligence is vital for an employee to manage emotions, make decisions, and manage stress at work. The sampling technique in this research was Non-Probability Sampling with the Accidental Sampling type. The research respondents consisted of 191 people with the criteria of employees who have worked for at least one year and were 21 years old and above. The scale used in this research was the emotional intelligence scale developed by Khalili (2011) based on Goleman's refinement model of emotional intelligence and the occupational stress scale developed by Shukla and Srivastra (2016), The New Job Stress Scale. The results showed a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence and occupational stress. Furthermore, it can be interpreted that the higher the emotional intelligence, the lower the occupational stress on employees. Conversely, the lower the emotional intelligence, the higher the occupational stress on employees.

Abstract :
This research describes the process and result of the implementation of attachment-based play to change the Internal Working Model (IWM) of adopted children to build a secure attachment between adoptive parents and adopted children. The subjects of this research receive intervention in the form of attachment-based play in 8 sessions. The intervention is planned under four-dimension approach for attachment-based play according to Booth and Jernberg theory. Measurement of the degree of secure attachment of adopted children uses the Attachment Q-Set (AQS), whereas observation on the interaction between the adoptive parents and the adopted children uses Marschack Interaction Method (MIM) before and after the intervention. Results of the research show that there is a difference in the total score when the pretest and posttest are held by using the AQS. It means that there is a difference in the degree of secure attachment of adopted children before and after the intervention is applied. The results imply that the attachment-based play can change the IMW of adopted children.

Abstract :
The main task of the organization is able to increase engagement work to achieve organizational goals more advanced and able to face global challenges The purpose of this study is to see the influence of the psychogical capital which consists of four aspects namely self-efficacy, optimism, hope, resiliency. Which acts in forming work engagement. Design of this research is a survey, which involved 87 employees of Airport Authority Office Area I Jakarta. There are three questionnaires are used in data collection. Prerequisites test conducted prior to test hypothesis that consists of data normality test, linearity, multikoliniearitas, autocorrelation, and heterodeskosititas. The research proves that psychological capital can predict work engagement. Based on the test results of these studies we can conclude that the psychological capital can predict the work engagement of employees in the Office of Airports Authority Region 1 Jakarta, Indonesia.

Abstract :
This study aims to determine there is a role of body image and social support on self-confidence of cover dancer K-pop in Jakarta. The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique with total of subject is 219 people. The measuring instruments of this study is self-confidence scale that proposed by Guilford (1959), Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Apperarance Scales (MBSRQ-AS) by Cash & Pruzinsky, and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) by Zimet et al. Each measuring instrument has a reliable. Most of the respondents has a moderate level of body image and there are still some respondents who have a low body image. It is means there are still many cover dancers who view and evaluate their body image as negative. Likewise, for social support and self-confidence, most respondents are in the moderate category. This show that there are still respondents who have low social support and self-confidence. The result of study showed that body image and social support have a role on cover dancer K-pop’s self-confidence either partially or together.

Abstract :
Someone adopts an ideology because ideology will help psychological needs, interpret and regulate the social world around him. In other words, ideology will help shape the right attitudes, values and societal goals and how to achieve them, so that individuals will be able to understand, predict and even rationalize the rules of society. This study examines the relationship between the system of justifying belief, belief in a just world and conservative ideology on subjective well-being in outsourced workers. A total of 321 outsourced workers currently employed at the company participated in this study. The results showed that the system of justifying belief, belief in a just world and conservative ideology correlated positively and significantly to cognitive subjective well-being aspects. While the affective aspects of subjective well-being were not found to be correlated. This is because the measurement of the affective aspect is more influenced by individual personality. This research indirectly illustrates the palliative function of ideology in helping disadvantaged groups (low economic status) in the face of inequality so that those who are disadvantaged by the system continue to recognize that socio-economic differences are legitimate and fair (support the status quo).
